Relapse

Hi all,

Not a good weekend, I smoked!!

Had a big argument with the other half which started Friday night and dragged on until Saturday afternoon.

I went out to a friend's BBQ to chill out for a couple of hours on Saturday PM and on the walk there bought a pack of 10 and managed to smoke 4.

Didn't really enjoy it and it actually mad me feel a bit sick.

I guess I did it as I thought it would help my mood after the argument.

I feel really crap about it now as I would have been clean for 2 weeks yesterday.

Anyway still taking the Champix and tryiing to be positive again, just disappointed I gave in so easily and I'm back to day 1!

Lesson learned.

I'm sorry to hear that you relapsed after all that work after an argument with your OH you bought 10 and smoked four of them I hope you chucked the rest away

I don't mean to sound callous or uncaring but I'm glad you didn't enjoy them and they made you feel a bit sick

Anyway as you say lesson learnt and you're back on board again and that's good

If you're tempted again for whatever reason remember this lesson and it will help you resist the temptation

Which should mean lesson well and truly learnt

Hi Elwell,

Sorry to hear that things were so tough that you bought some cigs. Apart from them making you feel sick, I bet they didn't help resolve things with your OH either. You've learned from it, that's the important thing. This could strengthen your determination to succeed now. Keep strong.
