You really need to get things straight in your mind. Become a non smoker not an occasional one. There is no in between I'm affraid.

I agree with Nic on this you cannot be a part time smoker it just doesn't work as with an alcoholic

They cannot have just one drink and

So we as ex-smokers cannot have just one Fag

They are both addictions just as much as Heroin ot any other drug

Really sad for you mate, expecially after you've given me some good advice in the past.

Never mind though, there's always next time, just make sure there IS a next time !! It might be worth jotting down just how you feel right now since you had a cig, all the emotions you're going through and how it has made you FEEL. Then use that on your next quit to help remember why going back to smoking just aint worth it.

I know this because I tried to give up so many times before. This is my longest and (i hope) permanent quit because of all those failed attempts in the past, I hold on to how going back to smoking made me feel....it wasnt better thats for sure !!!
