No- its me Paul. I am having my wisdom tooth out at 3pm.

One of the good things about not smoking it I feel more relaxed. I used to get all tensed up about the dentist but now I am feeling pretty cool about the whole thing.

I havent been for ages (a bit scared he'll find something) but I do remember that I would have to clean teeth about 4 times. Then would have to have a fag on the way there in the car as was nervous, so more chewing gum, mints etc before I got in (obviously now stinking of fags). Embarrassed cos now breath stinks of fags and poor dentist has to do his stuff whilst surrounded by stinking breath.

Then trying to smoke as soon as you came out of the dentist becuase obviously that would relieve the stress :confused: after an injection and not being able to feel your lips and dropping a lighted fag down your top!

By the way, I went London this weekend. My wife took me there as a well done for the not smoking.

We got off at St Pancras, walked to Russell square and then travelled by tube to Convent Garden.

When we got their, there was a lift up to street level or some stairs. Being full of energy, we chose the stairs. Bloody hell, there werre about 190 steps and a voice came over the tannoy warning that it was the equivalent of a 15 storey building.

My legs burned, and my heart was beating out my nexk by the time I got to the top. But superbly, I wasn't really out of breath and my heart rate returned to normal within no time. It actually made me feel better (full of adrenalin).

Two thirds of the way up we passed a couple of people only a few years older than us, that had to stop and looked pretty shite to be honest. They had to be smokers and that would have been me a few months ago I promise you.

Thank the stars that we have made it/are going to make it.

I love Convent Garden! especialy after a show, it's almost continental like.

I go to the sancury there once a year, real treat for the ladies!

I did those stairs once when I was working on the Strand (while I was still smoking too!) - NEVER AGAIN!!! :eek:
