Just eaten some Pizza & 3rd glass of wine - first junk food and alcohol (mostly) for 2 weeks as I've been poorly
HELP.....Realy bad craving even with Champix! Doctor reduced dose as not sleeping properly - to many vivid dreams and waking up too much in the night but the reduction does not even start until tomorrow!
Just need to come here till it settles.... Was easier when I was ill!
Trying not to think about it too much....pwew...settling....sort of....
Will log in tomorrow....can't even just go to bed and sleep it off as my niece is staying over and not realy fair to leave her to own devices.

Hope you managed to get through the cravings Carol - you are doing so well
Do you think it was the wine/smoking association that started the craving? I daren't drink any alcohol at the moment because it kind of goes together for me, and as I get drunk so quickly my willpower will fade within minutes
Had another glass of wine after I logged off, finished watching "What Women Want" for the 10th time - great film, and went to bed.
The cravings had started before the drink but then after a couple of glasses I had about 1/2 hour where I was arguing with my self about the harm just one puff would do. The deep breathing and reading posts here thelped and knowing that if I have even one puff then it will set me back to square one and possible just restart smoking which I just cannot afford to do
Don't feel like one now - must be something to do with the morning after wine and not used to drinking lately!
Hope you are all doing well and have fun today. Thanks for your support
It definetly was a close one last night! Seems to be getting a bit tougher at the moment but just got the counter and will get trainers out today (not that I will actually get running but just to look at them for the moment ) and keep busy and start planning a holiday with the money we will be saving
It is a fantastic achievement and you have nearly busted through to your first week. How brilliant is that.digilander.libero.it/le.fac...
You can do it - we are all cheering you on ...........
HOORAY GO WHITT GO!!
Just think for every day you do - you will never ever have to do that day again. I have scribbling out days on a type of calender 1 - infinity type of thing and get immense pleasure scrawling through each day with a v sign for victory at the end!!!
Glad you made it thru such a rough nite. I am on the champix and at day 5 again. I know the thoughts u are hearing. I have a glass of water with lemon in it. That helps a lot. I don't like lemons too much but a lemon wedge sucked on really kills the strong ones. This is something I have just learned and it does the trick. Good thing lemons are cheap because I drink a lot of lemon water.
Take care and stay strong. Be proud of each craving you beat and take it minute by minute.
