A Day off...

Popped into the Doc's this morning on the way to work to pick up my Champix prescription, organised by letter at the Doc's request, guess what.. no prescription. Of course they can't just ask a Doc to write one there and then, 3 minutes of their time is far too much of an imposition. So my choice, to have a 12.50 appointment thus missing a day at work or come back after 5 to pick it up; I chose the latter. Question is.. what are the effects of a day off the wonder-drug? Right now I'm feeling a bit strange.. sort of on the verge of having a fever.. but that could just be in my mind.. Anyone got any experience of this?

Ive forgotton to take loads without any effects, but the first time about 3 weeks in, I missed the morning one and was half way to work before I remembered. I was paranoid that I wouldnt be able to walk (or drive) past anywhere selling cigs and that a supernatural force would pull me in, make me buy 20 and force me to smoke every single one. Funnily enough, it didnt happen, I got home and took the tablet as soon as I got in and everything was good in the hood.

i get the same feeling when i forget to take a tab!!!! i think it is psychological like boddee says, but as far as im aware, i have no green face or extra long toenails

mornin' all.. you got me through a rough one yesterday, maybe psychological, maybe physiological, dunno; either way, I'd prefer not to have another one like that. So thanks all for being there and a special high paw for the mutt who clearly has the Force but doesn't much want it!

Hi Steve,

Relax, breathe deep and just go on about your day as if you have taken the pill. Your drug level will drop some but not enough to notice. As soon as you get your pills take one. Don't make up the missed dose, just go on with the course as if you took the am dose. Hang in there!
