How are you getting on Dean1981 ?
Ive picked up again im going to start fesh tomorrow i think. I can do it. Its when i bloody drink it goes to pot. Scrap my badge
Ah sorry to read Dean1981 - alcohol is a big trigger for many when they stop, perhaps avoid it until you are stronger in your journey - the first month is a vital stage in our journeys and nothing or nobody should jeopardize it.
Wishing you strength for tomorrow, never give up stopping and learn from previous attempts - please post as soon as you back on the horse again, we are here to help
Thank ypu roison I'll be stopping this week for certain. I'll use my nicorett inhalator and buy chewing gum! I lnow i can do it thank you for being supportive i t means alot
How is things Dean1981 - have you started your journey again?
Hi roisin yes I quit on Monday willpower and my inhalator is all im using so fingers crossed for me I stick it. I feel positive
Ah well done Dean1981 - your new badge is on its way
Yes, will power is a must, not sure if previously advised to you to be careful with the inhaler as we have had several members here that stopped smoking with the aid of an inhaler but now addicted to it and find it worse to get off than the smokes BUT, it has worked for some too, try to just use it when really struggling, lots of ice cold water, bit of exercise to clear the head and eat lots of fruit and veg but above all stay close to us, we will be here to help you in whatever way we can (perhaps create a new post to get the much deserved recognition and support....)
Im drinking a litre or 2 a day of cold water i dont use it loads. Two cartridges a day. One for work and change it when im home
Well done Dean1981 on getting back on track - agree with Roisin, it is vital you do not replace the smoking with the inhaler, at the moment take it one day at a time and aim to gradually wean yourself off the inhaler - but that something to think about when you are more settled, also, stay close to here and post often, it really will help you....
Thanks jared I'm using the inhalator for a maximum of 3 months but i think I'll be off it in two. Just taking each day as it comes
