I was wondering where I can find a UK RDA for vitamins and nutrients. I've been using myfitnesspal to count calories but I'm also looking for a chart that just lists all the RDAs for sugar, carbs, fat etc etc so I can try to balance/achieve targets with these to? I can seem to find a handy reference anywhere?

Recommended Daily Allowance - nutrients?
Hi HannahP30,
The guideline dailly amounts are only guidelines and they're calculated for 'average' people who are normally going about their busineess and are, therefore, perhaps not ideal guidelines for someone who is actively following a weight reduction plan.
Hi HannahP30,
If you are afraid your diet is a little drastic or restrictive, i would advise you to get one of these pills Centrum, Juvamin or One A Day to make sure all is covered.
Thanks - I'm looking for the recommended daily amounts as I don't want to just count calories - I also want to note where my diet is lacking. I'm tracking via myfitnesspal but I want to ensure the RDA they are charting me against is accurate? I'm especially noting that I keep going over my sugar allowance but this is mainly from fruit.
I do take supplements but I'm trying to eventually ensure I get all the nutrients I need directly from the food I eat.
The NHS doesn't seem to have any advice?
