Good Sunday or Monday to YOU all my beloved ms family. Now, now do not read the title and get all negative and hide in your dark corner and weep. Think three times about it. Ask yourself "What can I do to make this SUIT me, my needs, my ms. There is something and it is your job to find it. Nobody is going to find it for YOU, like ms, this is up to YOU and only YOU because YOU are the one it mostly impacts upon. YOU, are the one who has to live with it 24 hours a day, 365 Days a year, and one extra day on leap years. Do YOU get the hint, are your eyes opening? This is your very own ms, we are all a little different and this is your version.
Take your time. Look at your situation. What can YOU do to make it easier for YOU? It might be something like parking next to a ramp so YOU do not have to step over a curb. Using a trolley in the shops to get around. Even using a scooter if they have one. I have found that this online shopping is very convenient. The shop does all the walking around and I limit my impulse buying. Yes, I am weak and my credit cards show just how weak I am.
The world may not be designed exactly for your ms, BUT YOU can find a way to make it work for YOU. Try hard, make the effort and live your absolute best life. Whatever that may regardless of the changes it forces on YOU.
Be kind to yourself, live your best and do not be scared too much.

I would put it a different way - MS sucks. But there's nothing I can do to change it. So, my only choice is to learn how to best live with it. Go to support groups and meet others with the same disease. And learn how to change my life so I can be the 'new me'. I've lost a lot of friends, but those I haven't lost are real friends. And I've made some new ones, who have MS or know someone who does. The new me is still a good person.
Absolutely, Royce! When we're so used to working for a living or taking care of a family, it's very hard to change the mindset to looking after ourselves. I've found so many shortcuts now that have made my life so much easier, but it took a while.
