G'day my RRms ( Relapsing-Remiiting ms) Sisters and Brothers. Brand new to this life? The major suggestion beyond all others, is SLOW down. Take your time, have a cup of tea and a slice of fruitcake. Yes, I am Australian and I like fruitcake. Your major decision is made for YOU. TAKE Ocrevus. Hate needles get over it, I do as well and I have been playing the ms game for a lot longer than YOU, 25ish years we guessed at today. Not important enough to remember. Meeting she who must be obeyed is far more important than an anniversary. Get your priorities right and ms does not have to be your big one.

Slow down, get yourself together. Remember your healthcare providers your family, and me, do not take the 3 am fear away from YOU, YOU decide what is best for YOU, nobody else. This will be okay. YOU will be okay. YOU can and WILL live this ms life. Others have done it and YOU can as well. Go, live your life and live it WELL with determination and COURAGE. Be a force for yourself, dig deep, and find that courage and determination. Today, tomorrow and every day. This is your life to live, live it.

Pleasure always knowing YOU, If YOU can do ms. then I can as well and if I can there is nothing stopping YOU.

Royce

I love fruitcake! Good, bad, any kind. My daughter and I fight over it every time we have one. Our local big-box store sells 3-packs around Christmas time, so we each claim one and pretend to share the third.

You may keep the fruitcake. Blah. Although they make great doorstops!

Since you brought it up....My aunt had a practice of making baked goods for everyone for Christmas. Unfortunately, she could not bake. When I took my new husband to a family dinner for the first time, I warned him to not try any of the biscuits. He forgot. When he broke it open to spread some butter, all the unmixed flour fell out and onto his plate. The look on his face was priceless, but he never made that mistake again. Anyway, her fruitcake is the only one I've ever had that was completely inedible. We actually did use one for a doorstop for the better part of a year.

I feel better about my awful biscuits now 😱 Does she eat them? 😵‍💫

Oh, yes! The sad part is that she thinks it's all really, really good, and she has no idea that the rest of us have spent several decades throwing it all away when we get home. To give her credit, some people do like her scones and muffins, so when her back's turned, they trade with each other. It's the biscuits and cookies that are the worst.

Wow. My mind is seriously blown. Y'all are very sweet people! I could not eat buttered flour 😱

I'm not Australian, but am quite fond of real fruit cake. The one my mom makes. I was shocked when I tasted what others call fruit cake, holy hell, it should be illegal. I've never made it myself, but guess I should learn since she's the only one who can do it correctly 🤣 She makes it every Christmas and mails it to lucky family members, along with other treats, but my favorite "stollen" is only for us. This was another shock in my adult life, other stollens are gross.

Speaking of Australian delights, I thought I invented "princess toast" when I put some sprinkles on my kid's toast one day. I found out it's called "fairy toast" and I did not come up with it 🤣 it's a thing in Australia.

hmm not in my house, way to much sugar. I prefer promise but my brothers are big fans of vegemite, gp figure they really are related to me, weirdos.

For sure, it's a rare treat for them! I've never tried vegemite or even seen it in person 🤣

it is an acquired taste, use it very lightly because it is vary salty.
