Daith piercing👍🏻

I had the Daith piercing on the 7th, had a bad headache the next day BUT every day since virtually pain free. Is it too early to tell? I cannot believe an ear piercing could be the final nail in the coffin for my migraine. I am also on Amitriptyline, magnesium supplements and daily aspirin, currently having acupuncture and eating a low carb, non-gluten diet haha, and at last I've had a few days MIGRAINE FREE......yayyyyyyyyy!

I had 3 weeks pain free after mine but they gradually came back. 😩 Not as bad though. Good luck

That's hard to read but it's not realistic to expect a miracle cure - I must stay on track with my meds and diet and hope that all these things together help long term x

That's great👍🏻 I'm really glad it is helping.

I'm thinking about having that done at the weekend so it's good to hear positive things!

Go for it, it did hurt a bit but if it can give you any relief it's worth a go! x

My daith piercings kept me migraine-free for two weeks and then they came back (though generally not as severe as they were before the piercings). I had migraines every day and now they are every few days. Be careful with the daith though. After they were pierced I was told no swimming, no sleeping on my side and no wearing my hair down for 6 months. I have pain at the back of my head from my concussion 11 months ago so always wake up on my sides and my piercings are infected and rejecting the ring. My physiotherapist told me that while the piercing could be making my migraine symptoms better the inflammation will be making my concussion symptoms worse. :(
