I don't know of anyone in Manchester but I do know you need to ask the piercer does he know about it. The one that did mine ( southport) knew exactly where to pierce and had someone come in who had,had the piercing done elsewhere saying it hadn't worked for her. The piercing was in completely the wrong place.. So make sure whoever you get to do it knows about daith purring for migrains

Body merchant or merchant on princess street. His name is Andy. If you go tell him Babs has suggested it. He knows a lot about the daith piercing for migrains and has done many.

Fabulous thanks so much Bans, me and my Sis are looking at getting both sides done. How much was it for 1?

£30 . I just had the one done because my pain is the left side. My migraines are now much less frequent and much less intense. Sometimes if I get the 'feeling" one is on the way I twist it and move it up and down and that feeling goes

That is interesting thanks. Was there a good choice of jewellery for it or was it just plain rings to start with?

At first it's usually a bar or plain ring till it's healed. Good luck. Let me know how you get on x

Hi , just an update. After research , I found holier than thou in Manchester. Very friendly & informative. A gentleman called Marcus did my piercing at a cost of £20. I would highly reccomend him/them.

Can't say yet that I have been cured & it is exactly a week since I had it done but on the 2 occasions that I felt the beginnings of a migraine , I took a naratriptan & within an hour it did stop the migraine. This is progress as the last few months even with the help of naratriptan , when the migraine comes I have had to go to bed & stay there for 3 to 4 days every week.

I will do an update next week.
