Feeling beyond help.

Just lately I have been feeling that I maybe beyond help. It seems the more I try and stay positive the worse I become. At the age of 20 i am stuck in a job that makes me feel even worse everytime I walk though the door and too afraid to get my life back on track because no matter how much I try and convince myself I feel as though I've faild before I start. I'm hiding. I'm missing out on so much but I just don't have the strength to fight it.

A year ago my mum became very ill and I put my life on hold to care for her. I do not regret it, worse than that on some dark days I actually miss having a purpose. I just don't know what to do. I have tried medication but ended up sleeping all the time and I am still waiting on word about someone to talk to. I wish I could help myself but I don't know how to. I feel like I'm drowning.

PLEASE go and see your GP and tell them exactly how you feel write down on paper what you did here so hat they will understand and help you.

Help is out there for you but unfortunately you have to ask for it.

Dealing with your mums illness at a young age was a courageous thing to do.

You now need the help so that you can live the life you want.

Many youngsters suffer with depression but dont seek help when they should.

So please dont delay there will be a future out there for you.

Best of Luck

After some research I found this that may help.

Did you know that your emotions greatly influence not only your ability to

heal but also your susceptibility to illness? Meaning your emotional state

can actually make you more or less likely to fall sick or develop disease.

It's true that your emotional well being and health tend to go hand-in-hand.

When your health is in the gutter, you often experience feelings of sadness,

anxiety and hopelessness. On the flip side, feeling great is often paired

with feelings of happiness, joy and satisfaction.

But the good news is that you can break the "pre-set" emotional response

to poor health and finally get to a place of positivity.

Once you get there, perfect health will follow suit.

All you have to do is follow practice the 5 emotional healing techniques

outlined in Lesson 5.

>>> Lesson 5.

Practicing these techniques on a daily basis, won't only give you healing

powers you didn't know you had, but will armor you with an emotional

shield against other diseases and illnesses.

What's actually behind your emotions? What gives them the energy and power

they need to exist and have such a profound influence on your health?

The answer is simple: your THOUGHTS. Your thoughts 100% determine

what kind of emotional state you experience.

So while it might be easier to blame your poor health, stress at work, or

struggling relationship for your emotional well being, the truth is it's how you think

about (and how often you think about) those situations that's to blame.

But here's why that's actually good news.

You can control your thoughts. That's right. You can consciously decide

to put your thoughts somewhere else.

But how?

>>> All the tools you need are right here in Lesson 5.

For each emotional healing technique, we give you a brief description of

the technique and exactly what emotions it can help you deal with along

with a step-by-step action guide so you can get started right away.

Don't forget, your emotions affect your health, your thoughts

influence your emotions and YOU control your thoughts :)

Hi

I'm sorry you are finding things so difficult. I was struck by your comment about the more you try and stay positive the more you are down and wonder whether you need to find support ie a counsellor or supportive relationship of another kind and then let yourself be down. Perhaps you are afraid that you will get too low and won't be able to ever pick up again. It does sound as though you are fighting depression and sometimes you have to give in to it for a w hile and let yourself be looked after. Is there anyone who would look after you and make sure you are ok? Maybe just someone you know cares and can write to, or a friend or relative? If you don't have such a person then that will explain your depression because we all need support at times. If there isn't anyone then go to see your GP and tell him you need some support because you are alone and feeling bad
