I’ve just discovered this app after trawling through google searching for anything/anyone that can help.
I feel so lonely and my mental health has deteriorated massively over the last year. I’ve lost touch with my close friends and don’t have family, so feel incredibly isolated.
I’m struggling to stay positive and am finding work and day to day activities so difficult.
If anyone wants to talk/offer some kind words/advice I’d really appreciate it

Have you talked to your Doctor regards this problem you are suffering from. ?
Write out a list of cause of problems so you can make good use of the appointment. If you need to relax try MINDFULNESS, Relaxation Technique you can purchase books on Amazon.
When I am down I do exactly the same, try and cut off from the world and hibernate till things get better. Sometimes that works for me when I have suffered depression from burnout at work and I pop up within a week to 10 days. However this is not a good long term solution the more isolated you are the worse things will get.
More recently when my 'hibernation technique failed' I had to reach out for professional help and I found this much more valuable than talking to friends personally. Friends say tell me what to do for help but really you are searching for answers yourself.
Get some professional help, medication and talking therapy has helped for me (the second of which I was highly skeptical of before hand but was desperate to try anything).
Once you have your foothold back on the ladder to feeling a bit better then reach out to your friends for a bit of normality and reduce the isolation.
Mental health services will say you need to help yourself get better, but I needed there help to get me to a place where I could start helping myself again.
