Does anyone know a councilor or therapist that accepts NC Medicaid? I have been told by my psychiatrist that I should get counseling.

Hi, Stephanie 😊

Not sure if Medicaid is accepted, but have you heard of BetterHelp? It’s online counseling and it’s helped me. (I paid out of pocket.) Anyhow, if you join there are weekly Groupinars (live or recorded) that cover various issues: anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, relationships, etc. And they match you with a counselor who suits you. You can also request to change counselors if need be.
