School trying to go back to full in-person learning

I go to a technical school, (for those of you who don't know what that is, it is where high school and/or college students study a trade career and get certifications and experience for the workforce) and the board wants to go back to full in-person instruction. Today was my first day back since we got shut down last March and it was very stressful. There are 23 level 1s and like 15 level 2s, 3s, and 4s (I’m a level 3) That isn’t even everyone. It was crowded enough, I don't know why we are trying to fit everyone in. My two teachers, who are both registered nurses, only wore a plastic face shield today, everyone else was wearing a dress face mask. I was so uneasy all day. I was told that if I feel unsafe in the building, I would have to quit. My teacher said that she refuses to teach us full virtual (since we also learn certain skills that require special equipment.) I hate that I have to choose wether to go to a school, which I always look forward to going, or to suffer more at my regular school. No one would talk to me at my regular school. It was always so lonely and I was always left out of conversations. I am going to call the technical school tomorrow and ask why they think it is a good idea to stuff more kids into the school. Part of me wishes that I was in quarantine again so that I wouldn’t be this exposed to a deadly virus.

I spent three years at Technical College, I was training to become a Marine Radio, Radar Engineer and Marine Electrical Engineer, that was in the sixties I found training at college was very stressful and eventually I became a Telecommunications Engineer. I left early I just could not keep up to the course, it was all solid physics and engineering and the operating of Radio and Radar. I could not come to grips.

I gather you are a training Nurse ??. You have decisions to make especially if the course is over prescribed and you are having problems because of Covid.

How old are you are you living in Halls or at home, do you have a long drive.

Instruction for my subjects was performed in college on technical equipment

I am a high school student so I still live at home. The problem here is that I want to keep going to the technical school, but I feel unsafe at the building going full in-person because of Covid.

You are not alone, I understand how you feel, You are in your Teens and I think I understand, Teenagers are not as affected by the virus and the possibility of the youth passing over is not very high. Although that is not what concerns you. I do not know where you are in the World, When I was at Tech we had about fifty students in the Ist period and when we took our first course at three months we were moved on to the next quarter where the numbers had dropped considerably, I do not know the situation in your Tech and also depending on the subject the numbers may reduce so there will be possibly less chance of coming down with this problem.

Have you discussed this problem with your Head of Department, ask and find out how the college is approaching this problem, as long as you are protected, wear masks or face shields you may be ok. All that is left or available is talk to your Doctor and explain how you feel.

Is your immune system suppressed ?. Personally I feel if they are able to reduce numbers, say several courses where numbers are split that may give you some relief

I was watching a program the other day about vits to boost the immune system D3 was prescribed for me for something else it is supposed to give a boost.

Personally if the course is running and you are living at home that may cause problems with family, You may need to allow time for the virus to calm down by the next date you may have had your first injection ? However the injections may only last a shortened period and need to be taken every year in the future

Yes I understand, sorry Tech School a standard School that works on students, teens more in technology before you get standard Science education more than a Grammar School or Secondary school and the school is open now for education. This is quite normal at the moment The Government Scientists feel the chance of getting the virus is very light at this age. However have you been having in home education ?

The problem is you will need to catch up, can something be arranged for a return to home/ computer education as before.
