Citalopram issues

Hi all

I'm back again. LOL. Has anyone else suffered from teeth clenching and restless leg issues whilst on Citalopram.

I've been on Citalopram for 4 months now and just recently I've been getting more down days than up. It's becoming a mood roller coaster.

The teeth clenching is starting to get painful, which is when I notice I'm doing it!! and the leg twitching I can stop, but it starts again.

Hi ya. I couldn't get on with Citalopram so I have gone back on to Sertraline, I feel better already and it's only been a week. Although this could be because i still have Citalopram in my system as well as the Sertraline. Hope it goes okay for you, but don't despair if it doesn't, there are countless meds to try. 👍

Hi muppet haha. I’m on week 10 of citalopram at 15mg. I still get some jaw clenching and having good then bad days. Think the side effects can last a while but will go! Just got to ride out the bad days as tough as it is. Also what does are you on?

Hi ya. I was on 10mg then went upto 20mg. It didn't work for me so I've gone back onto Sertraline, which I know does work. I'm just about to start talking therapy. wll see how that goes.😀

Ah well glad to see you’ve tried something else! Hopefully citalopram is the one for me. Good luck and let me know how it goes 👍🏻
