So I started taking 10 mg of Citalopram, its been 10 days, but my heart has been feeling funny? Has anyone felt this? I can't take Sertraline, as it gave me awful headaches.

Citalopram?
I did get that from Sertraline at the start, my heart racing, but it did settle. I think it is a listed side effect. I found taking just a quarter of a lorezapam occasionally helped calm me down. Worth ringing your pharmacist for advice. All the best.
I have been taking citalopram for a while to help with my anxiety attacks. It is completely normal that your heart races a bit until your body has adjusted to the medication. As my GP told me not to stress too much over it as it will only make the side effect feel worse.
Hi! I’d say if you’re concerned then speak to your GP about side effects but might be worth giving it more time for it to settle. I tried it for around 3 months before trying Fluoxetine (then I was on that for 3 months until settling on Mirtazapine, which has its side effects but are more manageable). Unfortunately they all come with a host of side effects that affect people differently, but hopefully it’s helping with your general mood/whatever it was intended to help! (It made me feel even worse!)
It has helped my mood, i feel calmer and i'm worrying less.. but I'll definitely talk to my GP about the heart racing.. i do notice if i take one and skip a day i don't feel too bad... Hope you're keeping well.
i take the above and yes I get headaches from neck damage as well. as a few palpitations that did get less and less as I got used to the drug.
I also take Opiates for pain.
Talk again with your Doctor, however it may be down to Anxiety
