Help I am at the end of the road

Feeling low at the moment my medication is working well for me but it’s giving me stinging headache pain and I don’t no what to do I just want it to go away I can’t stand it I don’t want to have to come off them but it’s not getting better it’s getting worse tbh I have spoken to the doctor and he keeps saying put up with it they will get better but it’s not feeling that way I just want relief I don’t no what to do it’s hard going for me to get back on track help I have been on the meds 3 and a half weeks

It does take time for the medications to work, upwards of five weeks, eventually the headaches will become less and less although if you suffer Stress or Anxiety can cause headaches as well.

When was the last time you had your eyes checked, this can cause headaches. In the UK we are supposed to get eyes checked every twelve months

I read somewhere that low salt and being dehydrated on this med, more likely to cause headaches. I've been drinking loads of water and eating a few salt crackers. Might help you. So frustrating when otherwise its working so hope it stops soon. Did you try taking on the evening like you thought?

Been drinking loads and had salt crisps and no I am going to see the gp tomorrow about it and we what they think when I was on sertraline I was fine but had eye issues I am thinking of going back to that if not as it seemed to do the trick I will ask my gp tomorrow what to do stick it out go lower or move to another medication

I know how you feel x nearly six weeks on sertraline and my headaches are vile x dr says to persevere until 8 weeks x let me know what the dr says x hope they ease for you x

My headaches are all gone completely but the other thing that’s happening is my skin is iching like mad all over even with cream on my skin is iching I don’t no what to do it didn’t do this at the start
