So I’ve been taking fluoxetine 20mg daily since September 2019. I’m currently in a place where I feel much better so I no longer want to continue taking the medication all together. What would be the problem if I just stopped?
FYI
I have been skipping dosages for the past 2 weeks and I’ve been feeling fine, but I do have the shakes and lack sleep, is this just a withdrawal symptom?

You may be OK, although you could try cutting down by taking half doses (inconvenient if capsules but it could also be prescribed at a lower dose), and then taking it only every other day, which you may already be doing something like that it seems.
Withdrawal can be bad for some people, but it isn't so for everyone.
I have no idea if the issues you mention have a link to withdrawal.
Unfortunately psychiatrists aren't cheap to see privately, and in the NHS at least, you don't have any right to access them, and they can just refuse any referral if they don't think you are worthy of their attention.
You will most probably have side effects caused by withdrawal. If you have problems talk to your Doctor and explain how you feel
Generally I always reduce medications now under my Doctor, My Wife also keeps a record of my medications
