This last week, I’ve not really stopped crying, I’ve got to the point in lockdown now where I get upset and jealous over the smallest of things... why am I being like this?

Can’t stop crying and being jealous
What’s making you jealous and upset?
The fact that my neighbours have nice things, like a nice car and a nice home and got a great life.. then there’s me who has no car, still living at home with parents at nearly 30 years old and no job.... I get upset because I feel that I should have nice things like that and a good job and then I think that I’m not smart enough to work as I seem to have a habit of losing jobs at the moment....
Nicola, Please know that every single one of us is on a different path in life so unique from everyone else’s! It doesn’t matter how old you are, you’re doing the best you can right now and there’s not much we can do right now during this pandemic. When you lose something you will always gain something better, remember that. stop comparing your path to someone else’s, it won’t do you any good. YOURE NOT ALONE ❤️
The best thing that’s happened during lockdown so far is getting a puppy which hopefully I can train up. I think I just get a bit overwhelmed with what’s going on, it don’t help with my neighbour bragging about what he’s got on Facebook.. I’m just glad that I’m not alone.
Well a puppy is something to definitely look forward to! Training takes a lot of work, but it’s exciting to see them grow. I have a 9 month old and she’s crazy and makes me the happiest
Our little Dave the Dachshund is 9 weeks on Friday. I love the feistiness in him and we’ve only had him a few days. We have a spaniel as well so I’ve been taking him on loooooong walks to help clear my head.
That is great 😊 good for you!
I once read somewhere,
A satisfied life is better than a successful life
Because our success is measured by others
But our satisfaction is measured by our own soul, mind and heart.
Material wealth does not bring happiness.
Although the grass may appear greener on the other side is the fence, believe me it’s not.
Take care.
Nicola
Can you not get out and about for a walk ?
Get some fresh air, it may help you gain a more positive attitude
Keep a Hold
I have never been jealous of others. Think of yourself and be grateful for whatever you have.
Ah the dreaded Facebook, try not to look into other people's lives, these stories are exaggerated, and you won't be reading the stories the following weeks when people are getting divorced etc, concentrate on your four legged friends for now,as for the job situation I'm sure you'll find something that suits your needs, even if it's on minimum wage, maybe you still haven't found the right job that suits your skills, job satisfaction is a must, as it will make you feel happy in what you do,more importantly is having good health, and that means you can still function, so try not to worry to much about other people's lifestyles, unfortunately times have changed since when i was your age, and it seems harder get onto the property ladder, but its still doable, so its probably with this lockdown, and everything else is making you feel a little fed up,but while you have good physical health, and a positive mental attitude, things will slowly start to pick up,and I'm sure you'll be feeling able to take things in your stride a bit better, best of luck with dave the sausage dog,and don't put any mustard on him lol, good luck!
