Good question!! Coming on hear i guess is mayb 1 step or something atleast? Although even then I find I hav to be careful not to read to many posts or some as certain ones overwhelmed me then others hav really helped so?? I do take breaks away sometimes longer then when I need try & come back. This virus business at the moment is really hard on a lot of ppl right now!

I understand, I have had bad anxiety recently. Signed off work. Poor sleep too. Under good GP prescribed Citalopram 20mg now been taking for nearly 3 months now. Helping. But still had panic attacks due to health anxiety minor complaints I blew out of proportion. All relevant tests come back normal. But as my oestrogen us low this can account for alot if the anxiety.

Now, what has helped very low dose Diazepam short term, sleeping better. Still under close supervision if GP.

I'm getting back to my hobbies. Guitar, gardening and yin yoga. I have found reading & do relaxing apps like wordscapes daily really help to focus the mind away from rumination over my health. Good regular eating. Relaxing baths. Mindfulness if sound, taste feel if things you like. So please try something similar will help you. Also I'm on waiting list for CBT and mental health nurse. Try to go out daily, but be gentle with yourself. If you'd broken your leg it would take time, you'd have good & not so good days. Your mind is not broken but overwhelmed, body & mind will heal under the right conditions. Supportive partner, friends family. And if you have any questions regarding medication, a good pharmacist can be very reassuring. I've got through this before & so can you. Be kind to yourself.

Eat supper several hours before bed.

Do not watch horror or violent programs just before sleep, it is better if you watch something lighter in content.

Do something like hobbies before bed, I look at picture books on go on You Tube and watch programs that are easy on content
