Anxiety/panic.

I had my second ever panic attack last night.. well I think that’s what it was... has anyone ever had a crushing pain in the middle of their chest that goes to their back and round the ribs? Feeling as if you can’t breathe, shaking, feeling sick?? I had the ambulance out and they wasn’t too concerned because all my observations were okay. But has anyone else ever had this?? Thanks x

Anxiety can cause this problem Beth however you say Paramedics had checked you out and recommended you are ok.

However if you have only two Anxiety Attacks it may be a good idea to confirm above findings and put your mind at rest with an appointment with your GP. Explain your concerns and the causes of our Anxiety. The GP will hopefully explain how to control your problem. With Mindfulness a relaxation Technique. You can purchase books explaining the technique on Amazon for about £7.00

Thanks bob. That was my second one it was like someone was crushing my back chest and ribs. It subsided after about 20-30 minutes x

Yes Beth sounds like Anxiety, I would still suggest above.

If you can understand the actual reasons for our Anxiety you will need to address the cause. If you can do that you can move hopefully without medications.

Understand drugs are not the end all, they will suppress, you will need to allow six weeks for those to work, possibly side effects will be counter productive in this time.

You are really better not taking these medications, if you can control your problems without them
