Does anyone know of free online counseling? I have come across a few companies but they all charge. Unfortunately I can't afford to pay at the moment and I can't bring myself to go to the doctor and talk to someone face to face...
Thanks for your time

If you are in the UK various towns or cities have qualified people who perform CBT. They see people private and also patients from GP Surgeries. If it is a child under sixteen the GP will need to be approached.
If you go to a place like above a report at your recommendation, will not be sent to your GP. You can however ask for the report to be sent to your Surgery.
Generally there are day centres that run sort of meeting place where members meet who have similar problems and therefore give eachother support. There may be CBT performed in these clubs as a Rationed Service say six to ten Sessions
The other option you may find organisations as mentioned above who perform CBT, Approach your GP to ask if He knows of any places who does this. Some do CBT direct with the Patient, the only benefit, possibly may be you will be seen sooner rather than later
Contact CAB they may have relevant addresses of treatment servers. The GP may use one of these servers if the need is urgent.
There are various companies who also expect payment the report generally will be given to you, you may need to give the report to your Surgery.
With under sixteens, that is a specialised problem and alternative services may need to be approached. Your GP will advise. Generally Staff need to be qualified and both parties interests may need to be protected, Parents may need to attend.
Generally yes there are online services, like here where support is given free, also companies where you need to pay, look on the web, this is where they do play. All I can say is be careful, befriending MAY be a problem. I have never used a service like that and payment may be required. Using services like that make sure the person or company is qualified to perform to all guidlines
Hi I have been looking for these myself but can't find any free ones either. If you find it difficult to talk to a doctor, my advice is to write it all down then ask the receptionist for the nicest most sympathetic doctor. That's what I did and it was a lot easier. x
These centres are there I was a Voluntary in one and when we moved I went for treatment, granted by a GP, although the service did work on people who went for treatment on their own accord. The charity I was volunteer at is still there and is still helping people with mental health concerns.
Go to CAB or phone Social Services they MAY be able to help.
I live in the UK, so if you don’t live in the UK, I’m not sure I can help.
There may be day centres in your area where people going through similar issues can talk with a supervisor present. If you’re 18 or under, I know of some people who call ChildLine weekly, same time, same day, and it’s all arranged. You see the same counsellor, too. Might work with the 1-2-1 chat, which is like an online chat. I know that’s not what it’s really for, but hey, it’s possible. Be careful though! Free counselling may be misleading- it’s easy to lie online. Of course, we know that websites like Beat and ChildLine and Betterhelp are all qualified, but there are a lot of dodgy websites out there that can do more harm than good. Best wishes,
