GOBBLE GOBBLE , 'TRIGGER WARNING FOR TURKEYS'

It is Thanksgiving in America. We usually stuff ourselves stupid with food, watch football, and sometime during the day we manage to talk about what we are grateful for. I want to indulge myself and mention some of the things I am lucky enough to have in my life. A warm and safe place to live, food and clothing. As we face winter in the area around the Great Lakes the cold and snow are serious matters. We have many people on the streets and most of them fall into the mental health category. I think there but for the grace of God. I am also extremely grateful for HealthUnlocked and for Mental Health Support. You have made my life better with your truth and honesty. I hope each of you has some one thing in your life that you are grateful for and keeps you going. Love from, Pam

Hello sweetiepye, - thank you for your very uplifting and positive post. Yes even if we are suffering there is always something, however small that we can be thankful for. Sometimes in the hassle, mundane, and worrying episodes of life, we can stop just for a minute, reflect and be grateful. Thanks again Pam and very happy thanksgiving to all in America.

Regards,

MAS Nurse.

Pam

I wish you a warm and wonderful Thanks giving, you breath fresh air to this site and always around to help others. Turkeys in the USA must be manic at this time of year with Christmas and New Year just around the corner.

I have never been to America and I would feel this must be a wonderful time too visit, Sad to say I will not be able to visit now We have always felt New England in the Fall. would be nice.

You both have a really nice time

Hi pam you sound more up beat tonight! We don't have thanksgiving her in Scotland we've got to wait for Christmas to stuff our faces with chicken and turkey! Yes health unlocked is a amazing tool for those in need of some support I myself have been with health unlocked for several years and at times I've had the support of some amazing people there names I forget but there support I don't! Unfortunately we also have a lot of people on the streets as you say a lot of them have mental health issues which sadly goes untreated leaving them vulnerable and helpless! I often think of them when I see the snow and think how fortunate I am! I wish that more was done to help those less fortunate than our self's! At Christmas spare a thought for those less fortunate than us even spare a prayer for them! Take care everyone and God bless you all david
