My Lies

Telling lies to protect someone you love only destroys them in the end. It is better to be slapped with the truth than kissed with a lie.

A single lie discovered is enough to create doubt in every truth expressed. Some people will only “love you” as much as they confuse you. Their loyalty ends where the benefits stop.

Don’t ever underestimate your ability to find shit out. Make sure if any of it was even true. A mistake repeated more than once is a decision. Something I learned about people… if they do it once, they will do it again and never argue with someone who believes their own lies. Big or small, lies are lies.

With truth you are able to grow and build upon it. Anything built on lies will eventually crumble and fall. If you want to be trusted be honest. Secrets and lies kill relationships. No matter how careful you are, you will get caught.

Not telling me something or hiding something on purpose is just the same as lying. Breaking someone’s trust is like crumpling up a perfect piece of paper. You can smooth it over but it is never going to be the same again.

You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending. Everyone wants the truth, but no one wants to be honest. Truth is like a surgery. It hurts but cures. Lies are like a pain killer. It gives you instant relief but has side effects forever. One day someone will be 100% honest with you, and will love you forever, so don’t give up trying to find them, they are looking for you too.

I read what Pam says, personally I now disagree.

When I was engaged before I met my Wife I was going out with a really nice lady, the one problem She had was been a habitual Lair, it drove me mad for two years, She would tell quite serious fibs I would walk away She would stalk and people would knock on the door and explain where She was, I would return and a week later would go through the whole problem again eventually I disappeared for several days and went fishing. The relationship died or so I thought. I was seen in the ballroom with Hazel and they told her where I had been It all started again and I needed to arrange a meeting, it then ended.

Since then I do not tell fibs, it is not worth the hassle, Hazel is the same. Sometimes the truth hurts it is better than the liar where they need to be able to remember the fibs they tell to everyone. I am not that bright, it is easier to bite my lip and be honest
