Hi silentwinterland, I think we all have days like this, you're not alone in how you feel. Maybe choose one small thing on your list that won't take too long to do, then reward yourself afterwards. Pace out your activities i.e. match your activities to your energy levels, doing things in short bursts and intermittently resting in-between. Try and get outside in the sunshine and fresh air, and countryside or park, just changing your physical location, can give you a fresh, uplifting perspective.

Take care,

Best wishes,

MAS Nurse

I'm the same, it could be self sabotage. I do suffer from anxiety and depression too.

Your fortunate, our weather is rather grey up here! Lol. I had to purchase a SAD lamp cuz we don't get enough sun.

I took a couple o days off work because we were actually having good weather but it's raining now lol that was a waste of my time.

I'm sorry you feel bad. I get like that to. I can sleep forever and still be so tired. What do you think is making you sad and lost? I'm an expert on sad and lost😊

I can relate. That’s my life everyday. I get up and do what I absolutely must, and nothing more. Then I spend the rest of the day on the couch. I hate it, but have no energy or motivation to do more.

Well I wish you well. Hope you get your motivation back someday

I tend to decide on having a lazy day, then the pressure is off then I think to myself anything I manage is a bonus. I tend to get more done that way. If I do a huge list I feel overwhelmed and don't do anything except mentally beat myself for being 'lazy ...... try it.
