Broken and hurt

Jamesadams277211 profile image

My life has been shattered, until recently I had my house and a secure full time job which I’ve done for many years with same company. Someone I know forced entry into my home by putting a brick threw the window. Basically they were wanting money and if I did not pay up then an allegation of sex abuse was going to be put around my neighbours and they were going to call my workplace. These threats have been carried out and I now can’t go back to my own home and I dont have a job. The hurtful part is the allegation is milicous and has nothing to support it also they said they will not be going to the police to report because I will be able to clear my name at that point. Since then my panic attacks have increased to a daily basis my mood can’t be any lower so my depression is taking over and my anxiety has got worse because I feel as though I’m overwhelmed with all this don’t know if I will ever get out of this dark place. I’m not sleeping because of nightmares and bad memories from the past, I’m haunted by the past now because thats where I feel I am. My stress levels are through the roof which is taking its toll on my blood pressure and my arthritis is also at its worst.

hi james if I was you would go to the police right away that sort of behaviour is terrible beyond belief.dont be afraid to stand up for yourself clowns like this cant get the better of you.why don't you have a job.i would be suing for unfair dismissal or at least demanding a showdown with the company.stand your ground don't be run out your home either.but if you do move it could take you away from the stress you are suffering.go to the police don't let this ruin you.

Hello James, I agree with kenster1, that you should go to the police asap as these people need to be stopped. Their behaviour is not only shocking, but it is abusive, harassment, and actually criminal. Also, in regards to your former job, you have grounds for unfair dismissal, and it would be worth speaking to your union rep, HR, and assuming you live in the UK try ACAS acas.org.uk/index.aspx?arti.... You must find a way to fight back with support. In UK and US your physical and mental health is protected by law by The Equalities Act 2010, or ADA (American Disability Act). Your employer is duty bound to comply with the law and you may need to seek legal advice for both unfair dismissal, and for the criminal act against your physical property, your mental health and defamation of character. In UK you can get legal aid.

Don't let this go, your health is suffering. Speak to your doctor and get some professional medical support too.

Keep in touch,

Take care,

MAS Nurse

I have been to the police and they attended at the house as well at the time they forced their way in. My job suspended me with no pay until all this is sorted. I can’t believe that someone took everything away from me. What made it worse that night was I took a panic attack but that didn’t stop them they just laughed and told me to stop that stupid breathing

This is awful and I feel so sorry you have experienced this. Once the police have investigated and found there is no truth in the allegation then your name will be cleared and your employer will take you back.

I agree with the others - don't take this lying down. This person has no power to destroy your life unless you let them. And why should they be believed over you? x

The police have already looked into the allegation as much as they can and they have already told me there is nothing to support the allegation but he won’t go to the police to make an official complaint because his words were if I do go to the police then ur name will be clear but if I just keep making the allegation there is nothing they can do about that.

Well if the police find no evidence of any wrong doing on your part then your name is clear and your employer should take you back on. I don't get why he is believed by others and you aren't.

The police have already told me there is absolutely no evidence nor is there Likly to be and evidence because this is solely malicious allegation and they’ve refused the police half a dozen times to make an official complaint. My employers know this but still suspended me

I have been to the police and reported it, they have been brilliant and the investigation hasn’t come up with anything at the moment and there has no official complaint been made despite the police offering to take a statement but they’re happy enough just to keep the allegation going

If you are innocent then there's nothing to worry about..I would be worried about the party..stay strong.

I have said right from the start the truth always wins in the end and I am telling the truth I would never do anything like that all I want is for the truth to come out and for it to be over.

I can't tell you what to do but if you know the identity of these scumbags you should be going immediately to the police & local authority Public Protection Team. These no marks are committing criminal offences which can carry significant custodial sentences. Blackmail, Harrasment, Criminal damage, Attempt to obtain money via falsehood & threat. I appreciate you're not me but I'd have them quaking in their boots! Maybe that's the Irish in me, though but hang them out to dry & get them in the witness box!
