The N word...

If we could eliminate this word from our language we as people would evolve. Regular conversations with educated people who use the word, regardless of race, spoil the quality of value in their words. Strive to articulate your words better. ~ Avila

I totally agree, as well as the P word.

Racist words

I hate the F and C words the most but I think any swearing online is very disrespectful. Unfortunately a few people use them on here sometimes. This puts me right off the site. It's also against the site policy as far as I am aware. x

Words are just words, we give them the power to hurt and wound . I've noticed what is offensive in the UK is not necessarily offensive in the US. The N word though seems to surpass boundaries and is offensive the world over . I think people use this word for two reasons. One they intend to be racist and two they want to show that they are above the common people and can use such words with impunity. Either reason is offensive to , or should be, to anyone who hears it. People need to step up and voice their distaste of these words and let the speaker know just how ignorant they are . Pam
