how I turned round my depressions

When I was born, my mother didn't bond with me, as a result, I didn't eat properly. I grow up with an eating disorder of which I was completely unaware. I'm like an iron board, very skinny. Depressions where normal all my life but never wanted to take antidepressants as I am very obstinate. Only over the counter St John's Wort when I was in my 40's. I'm nearly 60 and 10 years ago I was so low that I was prescribed iron tablets and my apetite suddenly started to appear. Two years ago, despite all the food, I was advice to take supplements, like Vitamin C, Fish Oil and 50+ supplement, also bone support tablets. I have taken yoga and meditation and I am a completely different person now. when I visited my mother a few months ago, she said she couldn't recognise me. I'm in a mission to make myself happier. That is the most important thing for me now.

Many congratulations on turning your health around. I do believe that our bodies go wrong due to lack of vitamins, minerals, amino acids etc. Good luck

It's great to hear how things have improved for you and to hear about the things you tried which helped you to get there. Congratulations and thanks for sharing your very positive message and ideas with us, plenty of food for thought there.

thank you very much tofler. I have to help; I suffered enough and I know how it feels when you are down. it's not all rosy in life, when you go through that you have to open your eyes and I didn't want to do it until it was really bad. still learning though, but much happier.
