Back to the doctors tomorrow, I'm on the maximum dose of meds, they wanted me to phone the outreach CBT but not for me. Going to see what she has to say. I constantly feel tired, can't seem to sleep straight through at the moment and have an unquenched thirst so going to ask for a diabetes test (it's a family history also read the other night the meds I'm taking can bring on diabetes

Yes go see GP it's a simple test for diabetes. I think there is a cross over of symptoms for depression and diabetes but I can't be sure.
I'm up at max of my meds but they are working. But if I get into crisis zone again it may be hospital and new meds. Yippee!
It is frightening and that adds to your stress and it just snowballs.
I'm trying to do other stuff to keep mood up now I'm feeling more able but I'm a long way from normal. So focusing on diet, getting out everyday and being less isolated. I'm hoping soon I can get some regular exercise.
The complete exhaustion is horrible. But, I'm doing a bit more each day - though trying not to do too much.
I hope seeing GP helps. Once you start not feeling completely down each day it does make a difference.
Hi Taz,
Feeling tired can be a symptom of depression or it's from lack of quality sleep.
My doctor added sleeping tablet Temazepam to be taken for 5 nights to give my body and mind a chance to rest and recharge as it is supposed to. With 7.5 hours unbroken sleep I have been able to feel better in myself. Still don't leap out of bed with any enthusiasm to go to work
