It can take upwards of five or six weeks for these medications to work. give the medications time. Many people do not give them a chance.
Anxiety can cause impatience and depending on its type can prove to be problematic as you proceed through the early stages of the medication, side affects. Many sufferers will imagine their conditions are getting worse.
In my case it took a time to get my ADs right, and eventually my GP said to me to give the drugs a chance. He went back down the list to an earlier drug to treat me it was the earlier medication that I now take so I stand by that, it is no good changing medications frequently, most of these drugs are very similar in the way they work

Thank you so much sir. Sigh...I'm just worried so much bcoz I have these worst physical symptoms. Sigh and I can't afford to go to work like this It will be so hard
You should tell your doctor of this and pester him or her to do something about it immediately. Studies have shown that when patients are more involved in making decisions about their treatment, they are more like to get better quality care.
You need to be assertive, no matter how hard it is, in other to make sure you are heard and your input is respected. You have been on the meds for 3 weeks, that is more than enough time for most medications, to kick in. If you know the name of your medication, look up the information on them, educate yourself and get back to your doctor with that information to demand something be done about it.
Sigh...I will sir. I got good news yesterday, someone canceled their slot for consultation today, meaning I can see my doctor today and tell her about my concerns. It is so hard to fight your mind every day esp. every morning when my anxiety is in full swing mode, I can't think well and I can't eat. Sigh...I can't imagine myself being like this for the rest of my life...sigh...maybe the only time I could rest is when I die. Sigh...
Thanks for the tip sir.

Your GP will be possibly expecting you to feel the way you do. You could go back and see what He says. By the time you get an appointment in the UK it will be around two weeks. Make that appointment and see how you go. That will possibly have given your medications to work. You can use the appointment to tap base to discuss your concerns, I would try and remain on your medications, although your GP will decide on the best way forward.
You could try Relaxation Techniques, MINDFULNESS is a very inclusive technique to try, you can get books on the subject at Amazon and I think there are webpages that deal with the subject. If I remember Breathing Techniques are also explained. If you get stuck ask your GP He may be able to put you on the right track.
