My dog is going blind. She has cataracts, I got her the surgery but now it has gone wrong and she has glaucoma in one eye. We go back to the vet tomorrow morning and she may go blind again or need to have her eye removed. She is my everything and I need the best for her. I'm pleading for all the good wishes I can get please. I am of the Christian faith and I would appreciate that, but I'm also asking for prayers and good wishes from any and all. Please, just think of her (Maile) and wish her well in whatever way has meaning for you. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much for listening.

You know what, sweet lady? Your little dog already HAS the best...she has your LOVE... She is SOOOO cute! <3 I know this must be difficult for you...but dear one, it is probably a LOT more difficult for YOU than it is for her... Just keep up what you are doing... Please, try to just keep it in perspective, that is important to her, too... I do hope and pray she will retain what eyesight she has... and that even THAT will get better. Love to you both.

kinikin95 keep in mind that the animal worcester tolerates a lot more than humans do. Also before the next step there are drops to try and reduce the problem so don't,t givup and keep on trying to find a solution. veterinary treatment has come a long way i wish you all the best .Gillian.

Thank you for all of your good wishes. She is now blind in both eyes. In ICU (again) at our local university on an IV drip overnight and has gone downhill rapidly day by day. She's in horrible pain and may need to have both of her eyes removed. Apparently her condition is quite unusual. There's still a small hope that she can keep her eyes intact - maybe even a little vision. I googled (always a mistake) and some people in this position have their pets put down to lessen the pain. She is my world and my only true friend. I am devastated but hoping against hope for an acceptable result. They've been trying different drops and sticking needles in her eyes for days. I realize this is not a forum for asking favors but this has my anxiety/depression through the roof and then some - I can't sleep due to the frequent meds schedule. I'm shaking and vomiting. I rarely stop crying even at work (awkward for all). Your prayers/wishes/thoughts are valued more than you can know. Thank you.

Update: Maile ended up having both eyes removed. She is finally out of pain and we are dealing with it. She still bumps into things constantly but is improving little by little. I am so appreciative of all of your good wishes. It made a very difficult time a bit easier and I thank you so much.
