Hi guys, I'm a 16 year old depressed teen who's struggling to save up for studiotime and has just been kicked off of work placement for not 'looking' enthusiastic. I feel like crap and i don't know how to make things better... Anyone?

Did you try and show your enthusiasm in your actions? Sometimes I have students (as I'm a teacher) who don't look enthusiastic in their expression but then show it in their actions. Did they give you a chance to discuss their decision?
If it was me I would evaluate the situation. Do you think their decision was justified, was there a better way they could have dealt with it, and how might you be able to help yourself to make sure the same thing doesn't happen in the future.
I know it's difficult, but there are also other jobs out there.
In terms of studio time have you visited a number of studios to see if they can offer you any time perhaps when the studio isn't being used, perhaps a last minute deal or something where they could charge you less or offer you a free session?
There are also funding options available. This depends where you are based, but there are bodies out there offering grants to people who could benefit from one, you just have to spend time on the Internet and asking around.
Good luck
Well it was a one week placement for my course. They didn't give me a chance to show enthusiasm they didn't give me anything to do. I was just stood there, I asked the manager and she said nothing. So then she rang me group tutor behind my back and they've said they don't want me back. About the studio time I've found a studio I just need to save up a little money
Hi i am sorry to hear that you are not feeling great today. Have you been to see your doctor and told them how your feeling or even your family?
Actually I have been to see the doctors and my mum doesn't take me serious at times but today she did and we went together. The doctor told me he was going to refer me to the counsellor then I'll visit him again in two weeks time. He said he didn't want to put me on antidepressants cause I seem like a very promising girl
Hi,try and get all the help u can, I felt the same at 16 and also lost my job , life turned out OK in the end .
were you interested in the placement? If your heart doesn't lie in that then its hard to appear enthusiastic. Is studio time to do with music? try writing your feelings down. It amazing how creative you can be.
I dealt with depression when I was 16 as well and still do. I became a Christian when I was 18 and try to leave my problems on God's doorstep. That has really helped me. I'm not trying to shove anything down your throat, but maybe you should too.
