Its nice to have people to talk too
It doesn't sound daft, it makes complete sense! And I bet you also look great now! Not that I'm suggesting you might not have done with three weeks of stubble!
You're very welcome! Glad you're finding support here x
Hi Duncan, I know what you mean about the small things that most people take for granted but when you're depressed even getting washed feels like a monumental task, I know as I've been there, and believe me it DOES get easier with time! Keep on keeping on x

Hello ruby thank you for comment you are right things will get easier not easy because sometimes i get impatient and into much of a hurry to get better im learning day by day
Hi again Duncan I'm sorry that you are feeling inpatient, but I don't think there is a quick way as when I was ill I hit rock bottom and it took me a long time to recover. Just be as patient as you can and you will get back where you want to be. I wish you a speedy recovery
Hiya, I'm glad this forum is helping you, I am always amazed at how much I can be lifted by just having a chat with someone who understands and well done on the shave!! Keep that good feeling in your head and take baby steps with yourself. Take care.
Hi thanks for replying its good to get advice from people who know what you are going through anyway hope you are well from duncan
Hi Duncan
I agree it's a great help coming in the forum and chatting to lovely people who understand.
You mention how doing something small can cheer you up if there is one positive thing about this illness it's that it makes you appreciate so much those little things in life
X
Totally know what you mean Duncan! I can go weeks without washing my hair or having a shower ( I know, disgusting..lol), and I know I'm not the only one
It just seems like such a task, but you do feel so much better after it!!
So it doesn't sound daft at all! I think it's just part and parcel of what we're suffering from..
Good on ye for getting it done and glad it cheered ye up!
(Shame it doesn't last forever and you have to do it all again in a wee while lol)
take care Duncan,
Love, Holly Xxx
