Hey cookie don't feel bad, your not a useless coward, I bet they are used to people being just like you have today. It comes with the territory unfortunately. When you feel up to it you can give a call and explain.
Don't be sorry for the rant, that's what this forum is here for we understand and have felt like you do, well I certainly have!!
I'm sorry to hear that you couldn't face seeing your councellor and decided to cancel, but you are in no means a coward for doing so. We can all relate to how hard it is, even seeing anyone when you feel like this is a terrible feat in itself. I do hope you start to feel a little better soon, but get on here an have a rant at any time. I have so many people to thank for listening to me lately, as all I have done is rant and felt sorry for myself, but the support I have had has been amazing. Remember, we're all here for the same reason and if it helps to type it down then go for it hun, that's all I can say.
Take care and I do hope you feel a little better soon.
Sometimes talking just makes things worse if you have so much to offload and don't know where to start. I've been keeping a low profile recently for that very reason. Now my mind is starting to feel a bit less frantic so I feel I could perhaps talk to someone. So, like they say above don't beat yourself up talk when you are ready. Counsellors know what its like they won't hold it against you. We are all here for each other so type if that's easier than talking. Hugs . Nwg
It's difficult when you just don't know what to say and if it ended up in prolonged silences on the phone then that is unlikely to be much help ... nor would going on about anything and everything to avoid the silences.
