What is the best way to remain stable when you are up to your eyes in Alligators when the only thing you want to do
is drain a swamp with a teaspoon.
That is how I feel today after being up country and having to return to where the postman knows where you live and life knows where to kick for best effect

When things are all upside down for me, I try to cling on to things that don't vary. Getting up, having food, watching my favourite shows at the same time, driving the same route to work. It gives me a little sense of balance x
Best way to remain stable is to do something that scares you. Like jumping straight into an alligator's mouth and getting the beast's jaw open. Doing something productive in the form of art is a great way to get some balance and perspective. In fact, Carl Jung believed it was very much at the centre of the way people feel good about themselves. It's something everyone can do, see if you can take some time out to write or draw - or whatever else you might like to do.
