Im scared.
im just going to read ur other blog xx
you say your a teenager are you at school or college if so my advice would be to seek out the school nurse or someone on staff at college and tell them how you are feeling. trust me after 26 years of self harm i can tell you its not a road you want to go down if you can help it. im sure someone will correct me if im wrong but im sure patient confidentiality will prevent your gp from saying anything to your mum please if this is the first time you have self harmed you really need to speak to your dr. your gp may even support you in telling your mum she will probably yell buts thats her confusion at the situation and because she feels powerless to protect you (my mums words)
as for the not eating this will make ulcers worse because the acid has nothing to digest so attacks your stomach lining. I have recently been really unwell myself but i will do the best i can to offer you support

This is a lovely reply Sarah and I agree with everything you've written! Suex
Hi. I am here if you need to talk to someone. My daughter cut herself and also didn't eat properly for over a year, it started when she was 15. From a mother's point of view I was just so glad that she could talk to me and I went with her to appointments/dietician as I wanted to understand what was going on and to try and help. My daughter is now 20 and much happier thankfully. There is help out there, please try and confide in someone and believe that you can be happy.

Please be brave and go see your GP or even a teacher at school or college you fell you can trust. I've been down the SH, ED, Depression road and believe me, things are easier when we ask for help.
Have you got an auntie you can talk with.
Gentle hugs

Hi,
I'm a teenager too so I know what it's like. I didn't want my Mum to know so I just booked appointments with my GP after school and told her I was late home due to 'revision sessions'. The doctor will keep everything confidential and will be able to help, so the only way anyone will know you're going is if you tell them. But please do go, honestly, it feels so good that first time when you can finally just tell someone.
I'm here if you want to talk to someone your own age,
Betsy
HI There, I am sure your Mum would be much happier if you asked for help, you are very young, and cannot be expected to deal with this on your own. Act now, and let your fear go, then you will be on the road to getting better, its worth it, as you have your whole big interesting life in front of you.
big hugs
Hannah
Hi,
Im the opposite to you - old (32), a teacher, but am suffering from the same thing. So teachers do understand. I am struggling going back to work at the moment, and keeping my sh from students - I have cuts all over my arms (and legs- but they dont see those), and teach science - so I have to be really careful about it., and covering up. It is very common in teenagers - so you are not alone - this is why its very important that none of my pupils see my arms.....just seeing it could trigger them to do the same. Speak to a teacher - they will support you, honestly. x
