Body Temperature

My baseline temp is 36.2C. The last month it has gone down to 35.8. I use an electronic and analogue thermometers and both agree. Sometimes I measure and the screen goes red at 35.5. I mention to the Dr and he says don't worry and offers nothing else. I feel OK. Anyone a view on this? I am male and 76. Many thanks.

Where are you obtaining your temperature readings from? Ear, under tongue, armpit or somewhere else? They can vary considerably at times. Also your temperature varies during the day as part of the body’s natural rhythm. Are you consistent regarding when you measure?

Finally has your thyroid function been checked? Under active = lower metabolism and lower body temperature.

Under tongue with analogue. In ear and forehead with electric. PS I tried it under arm (electric) and it came back with 36.4 when forehead was 35.7. I wonder if ear wax gets in the way but forehead is usually over 36 whatever the weather.
