When can I masturbate after circumcision?

I am 16 years old and I was circumcised in June 18th. I have had the urge to masturbate a lot since the date I was circumcised. I couldn’t help myself and I tried once and I made myself bleed a little. I am fine now but I may take a little longer to heal, when would it be okay for me to masturbate? And when I am able to masturbate, do you have any tips on how I should since my penis may be sensitive. Thank you

If you feel comfortable enough you can try gently masturbating again. Just use water based lube to help you come easier. It is normal to have some bleeding when you experience erections no matter if you masturbate or not. At night we get a number of erections even if you are not aware of this. Due to this you might find some blood or serum stains on your underwear. Don't worry this is not going to cause you problems. If you have further questions post here or pm me. Did it 3 weeks post op. Was okay. 2 weeks too soon. Chek and see if your frenulum is still leaking or wound looks raw and red, it it does leak anything, even lymph fluid, refrain from masturbation unless you want to shoot blood out your frenulum. Like I did.

Most doctors recommend you do not engage in any sexual activity, like masturbation for 6 - weeks. but ask your doctor he know what 16YO boys like to do. I have seen studies where masturbating was OK in 3.5 weeks and others where it was almost 8 weeks. I am sure your penis will let you know when the time is right but do ask your doctor. Good luck!
