Postherpetic Neuralgia (PHN)

I had shingles 6 months ago and soon got medication going. But now I am having a tooth removed due to the nerve being dead. I have pain in two teeth (nothing like the pain when shingles was roaming my mouth though!) so fear the other will end up the same way.

Any experiences on the post condition welcome. I intend to check back with the Dr now to see if the condition is still live.
