Discoloration Under Foreskin

I sometimes get an erection during the night as is normal I think. In the last year say there has been a light pain (sometimes) on the end within the glans under the foreskin. Pressing it hurts slightly so something is there. Recently I have noticed when I clean under foreskin in the shower there is a patch of slightly redder area on the otherwise clear pink. The area is not raised but smooth just looks like when a capillary is burst under the skin as on the hand. Also I woke the other night to go for a pee no erection and noticed the pain there which funnily lasted only a few seconds (when I pressed it had gone). If I peal back the foreskin the area is slightly more glossy than the rest of the glans. The pain is never present during the day so far or when I pee. Please not this is not on the foreskin but underneath on the soft bit right on the end. It's not balanitis as internet search always gives.

Given this is a new thing, it may be best to let your doctor have a look. Just to rule out anything serious.

Could be Zoon's Balanitis. Symptoms can be relieved by using prescribed creams and stretching foreskin to reduce pressure on the shaft but only 'cure' is circumcision.Please go see your Doc'.

Well, i told him about itit but he did not seem to want to take it further. it seems to have faded a bit. keeping an eye on it and the pain has gone. i woder if it was something like a varicose vein.
