Symbicort 400, Warfarin, Lung function test query

I was diagnosed with multiple bilateral pulmonary embolism last Nov. Feeling OK but not as energetic as I used to be. I undertook a lung function test a couple of months ago and got the results when I went to see specialist on Wednesday. He told me he'd put me on Symbicort 400 inhaler as my airways are "a bit inflamed". Is this a sign of early onset COPD?

D-Dimer has dropped from 0.64 to 0.19 so clots are not an issue anymore (apparently). Nevertheless I have to continue to take Warfarin for the rest of my life due to having had a prostatectomy 11 years ago. Does that sound right?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
