Lump under bruise on bicep

Hi all

Recently I developed a large bruise on my bicep. Not entirely sure how I got it, but I do have a dog who does play rough sometimes so most likely from him. However I noticed that I can feel a small lump underneath the skin under the bruise, it's tender to touch, around 1cm diameter I imagine, almost feels like a node.

Any idea what this could be or if it's normal?

The bruise, if you can't figure out any physical reason for it to be there, could well be because of a deficiency in Iron AND...vitamin C, at the same time. If that's the case, it's not hard to put right, and this is a non-scary (safe, from frights) thing to take to a GP.
