Soon as I took gaviscon advance earlier, I then had scrambled eggs and within 30mins throat and neck was swollen. Anyone had this? I researched and most of low acid symptoms I have 🤔🤔🤔 any help would be great

A swollen throat can be life threatening. You need to see a doc and get this sorted out.

Hi. That sounds as if you should be seeing a consultant. If it is acid that is causing the swelling then you risk Barrett’s Oesophagus which is a pre-cancerous condition. I had an operation called a Nissen Fundoplication and that solved the GERD problem.

Have a chat with your GP and ask for a referral to a consultant
