Iam mr.Teeo a 29yrs single man,not yet. Married. I do have infection from secondary school since 2008 n have been treating it but not yielding any positive result.in 2013 after I had a foreplay with my spouse I released bloody semem, in 2019 again it repeated and this year 2020 it has been concurrently happening each time I have a foreplay.yesterday released was very thick n full of lumps and jelly like that I had to force myself to expel it out of the urethra.pls what could be the challenge and how can I handle it permanently.i have done scanning 2wice and nothing seen to be wrong with the prostrate, bladder and kidney.please someone should help me.during normal sex n masturbation I release semen but in foreplay when I feel like releasing and I pause to go and urinate outside I see blood.meaning I release bloody semen instead of sperm.pls quick response.am worried house

All I can suggest is that you get yourself referred to an urologist. You appear to need further specialist investigations.

To have had an infection for 12 years is not good. You need to get it dealt with. Lon-standing infections can cause problems apart from the original infection - such as internal scarring

Agree with Osidge you need a professional opinion. Blood in Semen is never a good thing.

If the problem is blood on ejaculation - haematospermia - this is not necessarily due to an infection. If you have had a scan and cystoscopy, as well as STI screening , then it is probably benign ( not serious ) In Nigeria blood in urine can be caused by schistosoma , its even possibly to have TB in the renal tract. but blood on ejaculation only most likely benign. As Osidge said, a urologist should do an assessment.

Hey,

I know it's an old post, but wondering if you're still experiencing this?

I am asking as I have been living with hematospermia since 2019, diagnosed in 2020. I had a very strong antibiotics treatment in 2020 for it and ot comes and goes.

Not what you're looking for?
