Was getting bad head pains but not a headache so I tried taking solpadeine Max worked well but now having issues in leaving alone Iv notice Lately been taking for no reason and taking more then the recommend dose and can't stop any ideas on stopping them

Solpadeine Max contains codeine which is addictive and should only be taken for 3 days.

You need to wean yourself off them. What worries me is that to are exceeding the maximum dose. The drug contains paracetamol. Do not use more than is recommended. An overdose of paracetamol can cause serious harm. The maximum amount of paracetamol for adults is 1 gram (1000 mg) per dose and 4 grams (4000 mg) per day. Taking more paracetamol could cause damage to your liver. If you drink more than three alcoholic beverages per day, talk to your doctor before taking paracetamol and never use more than 2 grams (2000 mg) per day.

Trying to wean of I don't drink as of other meds I'm on just finding things hard and this not helping on top as well

Never exceed the daily max. You may already have damaged your liver with excess consumption to date.

I had bad experience with root canel that lasted about the entire month of October and I lived on these the only thing to come near settling the pain. Did me no harm just had some stomach cramps
