Problems after abdominal surgery

Hi , i was rushed i to hospital on 12th jan this yesr with burst appendix . I had a rather tricky operation due to the appendix been right further up my stomach i was in surgery 3 hours they cut my stomach down the middle threw abdominal wall etc . After that i got an infection so they removed staples then let it heal . The wound had to heal from the inside upwards i was in hospital 2 weeks then left and had to have vac pak and packings dressings changed reguly . I was doing fine gaining strength slowly getting stronger i was back at the gym lifting light weights etc. Then in april i started lifting bit more and doing more then suddenly the pain is back like ive taken a back step 2 months . A small lump has come up to the side of the scar .i been told its not a hernia ? I dont seem to be getting any better i can hardly lift anything again . I have been waiting 3 weeks for results from ultra sound only to be told they cant find them . Will this repair on its own or do i need further surgery many thanks
