Couple of Circumcision Questions

Hidden
Hidden

Hi,

I got circumcised just over 3 weeks ago, and have 2 questions:

1) My incision line goes straight, rather than around the head of the penis (as if a few stitches at the back popped or something, not sure if they did though). I.e., there is no gap between the head and skin at the front of the penis, but is at the back. Is this normal/okay)? It seems to be healing fine.

2) Does anyone know what this small black mark/lump could be? It pertrudes slightly and has been there for a while now, been hesitant to try and get it off. Is it likely to be anything to worry about?

Thanks in advance all!

David

Hi U. It's looks pretty normal. Nothing to stress about. It's scab. It will fall away. Keep it clean. Salt water baths help. Cheers mate

It’s a scab and mines took for ever to fall off . Everything looks normal

Every circumcision is different. There is no way of predicting the outcome.

I see the black spot. It looks as though it has a stitch in it. That is where your frenulum was amputated. There is swelling there that is either scar tissue or oedema.

Since the latter requires surgery (unless I'm wrong), would you recommend seeing a doctor? Or just waiting it out to see if swelling goes down? Thanks

Hi,

Looks absolutely normal, the black mark will eventually go. It looks like a stitch/scab. It will take about 4/6 months for everything to settle back to normal.
