It's really small flaky bits but I hope it's nothing serious. In the image (sorry for bad quality) but you can see the skin. Is it bad? Should I get it checked? Is there something in life I'm doing causing this?

Thanks my man.
There are 3 possibilities here, and I would recommend that you see a doctor if your flaking skin doesn't improve. One possibility is that you have dry skin. To fix the problem, you can moisturize your skin with coconut oil. Another possibility is that this is athlete's foot, which is a fungal infection of the skin of the feet. Athlete's foot symptoms include flaky skin, like you are experiencing, as well as itching, cracking, redness, and foot odor. Fortunately, most athlete's foot cases can be easily treated by applying a topical anti fungal cream (like Fugacil) and by keeping your feet clean and dry. Another possibility would be a medical condition called dyshidrotic eczema, which needs to be treated by the use of high quality skin moisturizers and topical steroid creams. Take care!
