Hi, I'm 25 y.o. male. I have doubts that I'm producing too much adrenaline. I checked all my hromones from endocrine system. Everything is fine. The problem is that in laboratory where i checked my metanephrines the the units of measurement are in ng/L. In google I can't find information in this unit measurment. Can someone who understands lab chemistry to convert my plasma metanephrines from 68 ng/L and normetanephrines 151 ng/L to nnmol/l and pg/mL because anywhere I can't find information and google only shows the normal reference range in this units nmol/l and pg/mL.

Adrenal hormones
Does the report on your bloods not specify the normal ranges are for that lab? What makes you believe that you are producing too much adrenaline? Have you consulted a doctor or an endocrinologist?
Let me be more specific. I'm 180cm, 82 kg., 15% body fat. My problem is that my blood pressure is normal around 110-120 and from time to time it jumps to 150 for a minutes like adrenaline rush and after that is normal again. I have been to the cardiologists where I had a echocardiography of the heart done. Everything is fine. Also my blood work and ALL hormones are fine and sodium and potasium are fine. I have concerne only for adrenaline. The lab reference in that lab is 0-100 for metanephrine and 0-200 for normetanephrine in ng/l but every lab make the reference range more higher
Conversion i can do. I have chemistry background but bro this is not going to help. Our behavior gets influenced by emotions than hormone. Better watch what quality of emotions u have. I know its hard to convince but its a truth this kind of inquiry is hardly helpful
Yeah i know that hormone is affected by stress, I have some sort of anxiety but there is also tumor called pheochromocytoma which can produce too much adrenaline and cause anxiety amd etc... Can you do the conversion please...
68 ng/L is equal to 68 nmol/L.
151 ng/L is equal to 151 pg/mL.
Reason:
1 ng/L is equal to 1 nmol/L,
and 1 ng/L is equal to 1 pg/mL
how is your overall reports now
I don't know if is like that because in google the upper reference says that is 0.5 nmol/l for metanephrine and in lab that i did the tests the reference is 0-100 ng/L so idk...maybe i will do MRI
also chat gpt did waymore different calculations which says that im with 68,000 nmol/l which is enormous and false calculated I'm pretty sure there is thing with the molar mass for the calculations but i dont know how to do the math.
An appropriate brain scan should pick that up. I had an MRI to look for a pituitary tumour (negative).
as I said above, any problems like this, see an endocrinologist!!
